Upon Arrival:
Call 410-614-2560 to inform us of your arrival; we'll prepare a cart for you.
Unload ingredients at the front; the manager will then guide you to the parking lot.
Parking is available behind the house, with gate access details provided.
When ready to serve supper, inform the manager, and she will make an announcement to our families
Preparing for Dinner:
Cookware Availability: All necessary cookware, including dishes, silverware, pots & pans, utensils, and kitchen appliances, is provided. Confirm any specialized appliance needs in advance.
Quantity of Food: Prepare enough for 15-20 people, including volunteers, ensuring there's plenty for the evening and leftovers.
Types of Food: Get creative! Cook anything your group believes families would enjoy, providing options for both adults and kids.
Purchase ingredients or contact a restaurant for orders.
Types of Food Not to Cook: Avoid spicy food; provide at least one vegetarian option.
Provide beverages and dessert, although not mandatory.
What to Bring:
Bring all ingredients, including food prep staples like butter and oil.
Beverages and dessert (cookies, brownies, cakes, cupcakes, etc.) are appreciated but not mandatory.
Before Leaving:
Use plastic bags/containers for leftovers, label with the supper date.
Store leftovers in refrigerators on the 2nd and 3rd floors on "FREE FOOD" shelves.
Wipe surfaces with Clorox wipes, sweep kitchen and dining room floors.
Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher; hand wash if necessary.
Empty and replace trash bags; the manager will handle disposal.
